Firemen from Bethany, New Hampton and North Harrison responded to a house fire at a home at 611 South 23rd Street on Friday morning. At first there was concern that someone was trapped inside the house. But the owner was located in St. Joseph at the time of the fire, according to NTA ambulance. The fire caused extensively damage to the home, located just north of the South Harrison Elementary School.
