BETHANY, MO: Kathleen Marie Keefer, 72, Blythedale, MO, passed onto Heaven on June 21, 2016. Kathleen was born in Kansas City, MO, on February 27, 1944 to Noel and Martha Moore. She grew up in Kansas City. Kathleen married Richard C. Keefer, Jr. on April 8, 1967, to this union 3 children were born.
Kathleen’s goal in life was to be a mother to whoever needed one. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her family and loved ones. She was a dedicated family member, friend and went the extra mile for all who knew her. Kathleen worked as a group home house parent for many years, and retired from Unified Services of Bethany, MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents Noel & Martha Moore, brothers Rex & John Moore. Survivors include: Sons: Scott M. Keefer (Jennifer) Gladstone, MO, & Ronald A. Keefer, Blythedale, MO. Daughter Aimee N. Bennett (Travis) Bethany, MO. Grandchildren: Kaylee E. Keefer, Karsyn M. Bennett, Keeton D. Bennett, & Shae L. Keefer. Siblings: Carolyn Miller (Leroy), Blue Springs, MO; William Moore (Margie), Kansas City,KS; & Michael Moore, Rantoul, KS, and many beloved nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Friday July 1, 2016 at 2pm at the First Christian Church in Blythedale, MO. The family will be receiving friends, beginning at 1pm. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow at the Blythedale Community Center. Inurnment at a later date.
