Mike Fisher, manager, field maintenance operations for the Mid-America District of the United States Postal Service, presented Alan Guernsey with an award certificate for his 30 years of dedicated service, at a retirement reception held Thursday in the Bethany Post Office lobby.
Bethany Postmaster, Cindy Daniel remarked that she “appreciated Alan very much” for his willing and quick service in maintaining area post offices.
Mid-America District Postal Service visiting officials attending the presentation were: Del Schwyhart, Ottawa, Kan., Eddie Lewis, Liberty, Mo., John King, Joplin, Mo., and George Boyd III, Springfield.
