Candidates began lining up for Harrison County offices in the Aug. 2 primary election last week at the courthouse.
Races developed for two offices on the opening day. Art Maxwell and Zach Wilson filed for the Republican nomination as county coroner. The position is now held by Jeremy Eivins.
